Here's a final reminder that before you leave for the semester to fill out a scholarship application that can be found in the Pharmacy Advisement Office, L-130. The deadline is fast approaching. At this time, 85 individual scholarships are available that range from $500 to $5000; most are $1000.
Recipient are selected on the following criteria:
-Seniority* (P-6 first, then P-5, etc.) Dec.06 grads are not eligible.
-GPA (students should have at least a 3.0, although several scholarships
are available that do not have this requirement)
-Extracurricular activities and service for the College
-Financial need
-Criteria specific to a scholarship (Rite Aid or CVS interns are eligible for scholarships given by those companies. Others have a cultural or ethnic requirement; still others prefer students who plan to go into a specific area of practice.)
